I absolutely LOVE House! I would want to meet Hugh because i find his natural accent very attractive. I think he’s a very gifted actor and i would love to get to know the man behind House, or if the man is like House.

A better question would be why wouldn’t i admire this woman? If you know anything about Queen Elizabeth I you know of her troubles coming to the throne, her ballsy, in your face attitude and her refusal to do things that she didn’t want to do- like get married. Elizabeth coped with alot of troubles in her life, she is said to have had lovers such as Dudley, who she wanted to marry but since it would have caused great upset in her country, she did not. In a time when women were supposed to stay quiet and marry a good husband to do all the ‘royal work’, Elizabeth broke through the mould by refusing to marry and having sole control over her country. She wasn’t popular at first because of her religious background and un-lady like attitude but she soon gained support with her witty comments and total comitement to her people. Elizabeth’s sister and father who had both ruled before her had left the country in near disaster with religious wars, extreme debt and angry people. Elizabeth set the country up for great success and even promoted the dramatic arts such as Shakespeare. She was everything a ruler should be, the fact that she was a woman just makes it all the sweeter… and people say we’re too emotional to rule? Take a look through a history book boys.

I would love to have met Voltaire because i’ve done alot of research on him for school projects and such and find him to be an absolutely amazing man. He was witty, brave and stood up for what he believed in. Voltaire spoke out so much against the corruption of the Catholic Church that when he died they wouldn’t even let him be burried on ‘holy’ grounds, which was where everyone (everyone that had the money anyway- which Voltaire did.) was burried. Voltaire also spent months in the French prison the Bastille for speaking out against the Nobility, who were also very corrupt at that time. Many people only think of Voltaire when they think of the French Revolution, but Voltaire was so much more then that and i definetly encourage people to look his bio and theories, they will amaze you, Voltaire was way ahead of his times. A couple quotes by him just to give you a taste of what he was like:”God is a comedian playing to an audience too afraid to laugh”, “I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: ‘O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.’ And God granted it.”, “It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong. ” and “Prejudice is opinion without judgement.”. Absolutely amazing man.

I would want to have met Hitler because i would want to sit down with him and figure out why he did what he did. And i agree with many people that have Hitler’s name on their list that yeah what he did was awful but the fact that he succeeded in influencing all those people to do what he wanted, the way he won over an entire country and then had the courage (or stupidity?) to keep up his scheme even after the superpowers told him to give it up. Hitler was an awful man, but he was also a great public speaker and apparently very convincing as well.

I would want to have met Jesus because I’m not one for blind acceptance of things. Don’t get me wrong i’m not against anyone that does believe in Jesus. Two of my best friends are christians. It’s just that personally, i’ve tried the christian route and it’s just not for me. I would love to have met Jesus just to see what all the fuss was about, i would want to see if he was for real and i’d have about 400 questions that i would want to ask him like if you’re all about love, truth and forgiveness why did you let the church get so corrupted? Why aren’t there more women priests? Why did Paul talk about women being quite in the church in the bible? What’s wrong with homosexuality? etc… I plan to live a good life here on earth and if there is a God and it’s not good enough for him then oh well.

I would to have met Ghandi for the same reason most other’s would have. He was an inspiring man with a brillant mind and the courage to stand up for what he believed in.

I wear my heart on my sleeve and always speak my mind. I have set opinions but will argue against them just for arguments sake because i like to learn what people personally believe and why. I’m 18 years old and would never want to stay 18 forever. I hate stereotypes, olives, onions and cooked spinach … Anything else you want to know about me you’ll just have to get in touch with me and ask.
